Hit tapps with Bret from the musky club this morning and tried about every spot possible, Wind was blowing from west and continually picked up as the morning progressed. Saw one tiger in the shallows with a silver plug in his mouth, we tried to hook the lure and remove it from him but brett hit him in the side with a jig and he shot off like a bullet. About ten minutes later he hooked an average smallie in an area on a x rap, lord knows where the fish came from cause it was 1045 and we had been there since 6 am. Had to call it because the wind was puttin some pretty chop and the hodroplane guys were there pluggin up the launch. Funny thing though, im tyin my boat down and brett hooked a smallie in the swimming area and i had no choice but to try the whole shore him and of course he hooked up three more times before i left.
