Well I have great news for all..I have finally stepped away from Darrell and Dads Family Guide Service..I have been a Sub-Contractor for years for them and now I am on my own..My new Business name is "Lake Chelan Adventures"..So if interested in chatting or a fishing trip you have got to call me direct because Darrell and Dads will not giving my # out..1-509-393-9665..on to fishing...

Fishing in Lake Chelan has been real good in the Lower Lake for Good #'s of Laketrout this week..I have been targeting fish in the depths from 180 to 240ft off Rocky Point, and at the Yacht Club in depths from 145 to 220ft.. The Flavor for this week is a Pikeminnow Fillet with an action disc in front and the Green Glow Ace Hi-fly Spatterback by Silverhorde with a strip of Pikeminnow.

I found most of the Laketrout initial strikes were real lite so when I seen this lite strike, I idoled the kicker motor out to resemble a injured fish,then I picked the speed back up and they hit the dickins out of it..Great trick that will recover those lite biters to remember.

Pictured here is my "Mother" from Kelso Wa. with the biggest fish she has ever caught.13lbs. 4 oz Laketrout caught at the Yacht Club..and also pictured is our "Gems" of the Shores of Lake Chelan our California Big Horn Sheep..

I catch my Pike minnow out of our LakeChelan and on the Columbia River...Stock up for the year in the spring when they are easy to catch...

Same here on the pike minnow/squaw fish except for the location...Long Lake/Lake Spokane in the spring and store whole in the freezer with some water in the bag as well.

Chelanlaketrout, most Thursdays thru Sundays I would be up for a lake chelan trip. just PM me when you have a cancellation or are short on paying customers for a trip. All the tips and pics you post on Lake Chelan fishing trips has me rearing to go, and the news from the department on the Chinook fishery has me waiting on future posts with pics. "Keep on catching fish"
