Awesome morning to be on the lake. Sun was out and so were plenty other boats.
This lake used to be one of the more productive lakes in snohomish county however with the recent abundant fishing pressure it has recieved it seems to have slowed down a lot. There also seems to always be one boat out on the lake with a couple of inconsiderate fisherman who think that its ok to row thier little white driftboat within feet of where you are fishing and actually expect you to move your gear. You know who you are little white drift boat, and perhaps you learn some fishing etiquette before attempting to fish on such as small lake with other boats trying to do the right thing. Other than avoiding these guys it was a great day of attempting to convince Mr. Trout it was time to eat. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of really nice fisherpeople out here like little row boat lady and the guy with the johnson jet drive you people were nice and friendly with alot of knowledge about lake. I will be back again hopefully for more C&R fun....Fish On.......

Please take into consideration that Blackmans is a lake that seems to attract an inordinate amount of fishermen with inconsiderate habits. I personally no longer fish there because my last three trips there were made most unenjoyable by inconsiderate people. Im not saying that everyone who fishes this lake (or even a majority of people fishing it) are rude, but I will no longer spend my time on that lake when there are far nicer places to fish nearby. And no this IS NOT an attack on people who fish there, it is simply one mans opinion that some lakes seem to attract more rude people than others, and I feel this is one of them. Flowing Lake is one of my favorite lakes because even though there are a lot of people usually, I have never had a problem. Tight lines!
