We hit lake cassidy about 11am with no set plan on fishing. Couldnt belive the amount of people here on this lake... Seemed to be alot boats most trying for Bass which is not going to happen unless you piss one off enough or the lake warms another 10 degrees. Although Hunting Bass is a lot more fun than catching hatchery trout anyday... Anyways we were in the water after a ten minute wait for the people to stop staring at thier boat that was already on the trailer. We headed out for the deadwoods on the east shore I casted a few times for Bass and realized water was way to cold and nobody was catching anything so we heard from about a dozen people..So I set Paul and I's pole up with the secret set up and started the infamous trout hunt. I added the color green P.B. and some deadly secret trout grease(It will remain a secret) to paul's set up and not even 30 seconds after his line hit the water "Fish on" A nice 17" holdover as seen in the picture. I used yellow P.B. and no secret sauce and waited alot longer to land my first fish.. Overall a couple hours of goodtimes and laughter without rain... Always a good time to be on water with friends....Please catch and Release to keep our waters productive and strong......FISH ON........
