We launched around 11AM and headed to the NW end where we anchored about 200ft from shore. This was my wifes first trip and she started the day with a 12 inch planter. About 15 minutes later I followed up with a 24 inch triploid weighing in at 6.5lbs. My largest ever trout in WA. State. A true thrill !!! We bottom fished all day till about 5:30PM trying different color power baits during slow times but pink was what all were caught on. 2 to 3 foot off bottom. Grand total for the day was 7 fish. 2 at 9 inches, 4 at 11 to 12 inches and the one big boy. My deliar kept me honest on length and weight. At the dock people were guessing 7.5 to 8lbs on the triploid.
This in my book was as good as it gets. Have a great day:)
