I woke up at 6am to head out on pine on opening day this morning. But since I got drunk last night I went right back to sleep. I woke up at 8 and loaded up the boat and headed out. Got there and of course the place was packed. No parking spots and the whole dock was full. So I went out on Beaver for a bit and caught one. Went back to pine about 11 or so and found a spot to park. I went out for a bit without my anchor but realized that I needed it so I went back in and got it from my truck. I noticed a fish and wildlife agent asking people questions. I headed out trolling the whole lake with a pink wedding ring and half a worm, Caught a few. Kept one. I came back in to go home. I docked my boat on the shore and went to get my truck. I came back and an older man holding a fishing pole told me that I was supposed to have a life jacket on my boat. I told him how I hadnt bought one yet and he turned out to be a FISH AND GAME AGENT working in plain clothes holding a broke down fishing pole as a cover. He gave me a $87 ticket for fishing without a life jacket. Him and another Fish and game agent were working "under cover" trying to bring in some revenue to keep there jobs. They didnt even drive there work trucks to the lake as I did not notice them in the packed parking lot. Wherever you are fishing beware of guys jsut standing on shore with a pole that either has no line on it is broke down or you never see him throw a line in the water because I can garuntee they are Fish and Game. First and last time I will ever fish Pine lake.
