Took the boys up to the annual Fortson Mill Pond Juvenile derby. I have been doing this derby since my dad took me twenty four years ago. Hats off to the Darrington Fire Department for another successful year.

At 6:00am the bell sounded, and the boys had their bobbers in the water. Within 15 minutes my oldest (8) caught his five. To my surprise, he wasnt the first to limit. But he did win a tackle box for being first in his age group. My youngest only caught one, but stayed by his pole most of the time. He did win a Pirates of the Carribean fishing pole thanks to the raffle drawings.

Good weather, and my whole family had fun (cousins, friends, everyone). Big outting this year. I highly recommend this for your rugrats.
