Lake Chelan Kokanee are in!!!! You will find them concentrated in heavy schools out from the Best Western Motel in 30 to 40 ft. in depth..drag a Kokanee Pro by Mack Lures in Orange flavor tipped with shoepeg corn @ 1.0 to 1.4mph for best results..On to the Laketrout Bite...

All last week the bite has been consistent in the morning hours and tapering off towards the after noon..The Chinook have been on the bite also..

I have been most sucessful pulling whole herring and the Ace Hi-Fly by Silverhorde for both the Laketrout and Chinook..The T-4 Purple Flatfish has also produced for me..

I am finding that your chance of catching a Chinook in Lake Chelan is real high the first 2 hours in the morning and also 2 hours before dark..these Chinook are a tough fish to get to bite but if your consistent it will happen..

Thanks to all who fished with me this last week...Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or comments. I usually do a real good job at confusing the dickens out of you :)

Well I like it when it is between 45 and 50 degrees...Seems that there is alot more bug life when the temp is in this range ..
