Went up to McMurray with my fiancé. we got to the lake about 6:30, and were on the water by 7. We had a slow start. i was pulling a blue spoon, and she had a flashy blue lure, and nothing. we switched it up a little while later, and from 830 to 9, we hit 3 or 4 fish pretty quickly once the sun was shining on the east side of the lake. i was running a cross between a wedding ring and fly, and she was using a large red spoon. later she switched to a similar wedding ring/fly cross of a different color and caught about 5 that were thrown back so they could grow more to be caught next year. before the end of the day, we both had our limits.

My tricks from previous years up here did not work out very well, but we still managed and had 10-16" fish to take home.
