My report will read the same as others. With 18000 fish planted, it's pretty hard not to catch anything. I'll offer the more technical side. Got on the water at 4pm. Sky overcast with winds 10-20mph from the west. Heavy rain around 6pm. Water is consistantly 55-56 throughout the lake. Small fish 6- 10" are holding near the shores in 8-15ft of water. Larger fish are in deep water in the center of the lake with really big guys still holding bottom in 25-30ft. All strikes came while trolling the 0 - 10ft. Used flatfish, spoons, dicknites, kastmasters, anything bright with small hooks. Ran 4lb flouro. Great opportunities for kids right now, just remember light line and small bright lures on the surface. 4 boats on the water all catching fish, 10 people on the docks all catching fish, birds of prey diving into the water catching fish.... you get the point. Had to call it early once the lightning started coming down, and I wasn't prepared for a downpour.

Thanks for the details gian. Something for those of us who don't fish solely with powerbait. :) Not that it probably matters right now, but what color flatfish were you using? I've been trolling red and also rainbow on Beaver without any interest. Though the water was colder then.

the flatfish was firetiger, the dicknite was chartruese with green specks, the spoons were chrome, and the kastmaster was gold. all with small chrome hooks.
