Part 2 of my Beaver lake morning (see other posting for trout fishing). Fished the middle portion the lake starting about 7am using an 4.5"oxblood Kalin's worm on a dropshot rig with a flourocarbon leader. tried fishing along the docks and trees. No luck, so moved into deeper water. Fished where I saw arcs on the finder near the bottom. Usually in 25-40' of water. Tried very slow trolling. Dropping and shaking, and just about every other method bedsides switching leader length or plastic color/style. Gave up after an hour and a half and went back to trout fishing because at least I was having luck with those. I'm new to drop shotting, so still getting the hang of it.
Great day to be on the water.
