5/1/2009 10:11:00 PMSnorider, next time out try a tiny hair or rubber jig tipped with a maggot about 2 feet under a small bobber. Cast out and retrieve with a jigging motion parallell to the lilly pads. Maggots will out fish worms for crappie every time. Keep doing what your doing for bass, they'l l turn on soon. good luck

5/2/2009 7:09:00 AMDon't feel bad. I have had the same experiences the last 4 times out. I have fished Cassidy many times and despite the reports that they stock the lake with thousands of trout, I have never experienced a decent bite at this lake. Keep at it!

5/2/2009 7:57:00 AMThe guys fishing from the boat launch seem to do pretty good from the times I have been there. Try trolling some Dick Nites. Had quite a few planters hit them last weekend.

5/2/2009 5:15:00 PMBass fishing @ Cassidy usually isn't very good until the weather gets warm and stays warm. I may give Cassidy a try tomorrow if the weather permits, but Stevens would probably produce more fish (smallmouth).
