5/6/2009 10:51:00 AMTake the trail on the lake all the way to the back point where the trail meets the water gain. Take one of the side trails from that area out to the shoreline, you'll catch the majority of your trout off the bottom, with powerbait, use a leader of 12-18 inches so it floats up a little bit. I have caught them this way with marshmellows, orange, and green power bait. You'll find there are some baits they are uninterested. don't waste your time casting to the middle of the lake, and don't waste time on the bobber. Keep your line within 20' of the shoreline.
