Hit the water a little after 10am, the water temp was showing 57 degrees. I headed left of the launch and marked fish from 6ft to 30 ft. I was tossing a silver and black roostertail, kastmasters, little cleo spoons...nothing. My buddy was soaking a worm and nothing either. I decided to rig up a worm and bobber about 10 ft, nothing...A smaller boat trolling w/his 2 grandkids hooked up right next to us. He said they were trolling a nightcrawler with 3 ft leader and 2 splitshots..I seen them land 3 fish in about 20 minutes..I talked to a fellow under the bridge and he showed us a nice 18-20 inch bow that he caught using a night crawler about 4ft deep. I know there are fish in here, but I have been skunked 3x's...we also were battling random honeybees that were flying all over the place.

Jens my friend, a day on the water beats a day at home. Sounds like a good day to me!
