I wanted to extend my hand in friendship to site member Bluefin Loui for taking the time to meet me for an awesome day of fishing. We met up at Coulee City park and hit one of my favorite Bass ponds for a morning's fishing. In 2 hours, we boated about a dozen Bass to three lbs, all of which were released, and Louie snappied pics on his camera phone. Later, we headed up Banks Lake proper to one of my favorite Crappie haunts. It took a while to locate the fish, but once we did, we caught over a dozen fish in a torrid of quick action. Lou's Berkley orange/smoke Nymph produced the best for him and a smoke/ olive chartruse micro jig worked for me. A couple of kids disturbed the spot and the action was over as quick as it began. It must be noted that with my Bank's reports, I had recieved some flak for reporting my exact spot on a previous report, so to placate the sensitivity of those who think we shouldn't keep Banks Crappie- most of our fish were released. Thanks again Lewis for a memorable trip. The Jigmiester
