Roesinger or Margaret those were our choices for todays journey.. We got to lake Margaret after Debating which way the clouds were headed this morning.. Turned out to be a wise choice as we did our morning trolling with ford fenders and DickNites. Getting lots of bites and only a couple hook ups We scanned for structure as we are new to this lake and would like to catch something. Stopped trolling after about 45 minutes and found our first spot looked to be a dead tree about 50 yards from shore in about 15 feet of water.. Went straight to a carolina rigged night crawler dipped in my secret trout gravy slapped on a bobber casted and wham as soon as it hit the water 7" monster bow hooked up.. We now knew whats gonna work as we heard from the launch "Fish arent Hungry" and that was discouraging...
Moved around the lake structures and ended the day with Alphafish 23 and Pickle 12
All but one fish were released unharmed with the exception being cooked currently and smelling right tasty...Thank you..Fish on...
