Went to Lower Twin Friday morning. The water was clear and ~ 49 degrees. Even though the sun was out, it felt cold most of the day due to the annoying wind. We launch at about 7:00 AM by the driving range (South East end) - the ramp and dock are in good shape. We started off trolling from the dock heading across the lake to the rocks. My friend and I both got hits about 100 yrds from the dock and lost 'em. I was using a double whammy and my friend was using a worm behind a small lake troll. Felt light, crappie or small planter maybe. Got a nice 14" rainbow in the middle of the lake. There were 4 other boats on the lake by 11:00 AM. - Kinda slow day for Twin, but we landed a couple more including a 16" bow (and missed several more). My friend lost a very nice fish (great fighter, jumped out of the water at least 5 times) at the boat - silver and black, it looked like a Kokanee. We marked a lot of fish, but not many takers today. Couple of guys on the dock when we returned said they were catching a few (worms/pwr bait off the bottom).
