With a couple of hours to spend the choice was yardwork or to fish. No contest. Arrived at Hicks Lake at 1:00 p.m. with belly boat and flyrod in hand. Fished to the left of the boat launch with floating line with sink tip and a number 10 green wooly bugger. The action was non-stop on 7 to 8 inch plants. Then with a few larger 10 to 12 inch fish to make the day a winner. Beats doing yardwork any day.
