Around 3pm, I caught a 13 inch cutthroat on the south end of the lake, about a ½ mile from the boat launch. I caught another fish but it got away before I could net it. It was about the same size as my first. I was trolling with pop gear and a spoon. I was fishing in 60-70 feet of water and my gear was only down 20 feet. Because all of the boat traffic near the launch I’ll try a different spot next week. (I find it annoying when people with ski boats feel the need to bump techno music while motoring around the lake. It’s bad enough those $80,000 boats don’t have downriggers or pole holders)
