A 5-star day simply because I caught a ton of fish....just not the best type of fish.

I dinked around today at a marina after work. Last week, a group of us scored a bunch of perch and bluegill. This time, it was all about the squawfish. I could not keep them off. There was a whole school of them lurking around the docks/boats.

The biggest one (pictured) was about 14" long and put up a pretty good fight. I caught about 10 total in an hour.

I slit the gills on the first two, but after that, I just let them go :)
