Was on the lake a few hours. Tried trolling wtih sinking line and a gold bead head black wollybugger. My three year old daughter caught one fish within the first five minutes, about 15 inches. She had a blast!!! Had to help her a bit though. The fish started runnin' on her. After trolling around for an hour and a half, we headed to the lower lake to try some bass fishin. No luck at all. We noticed a lot of fly fisherman with floating line catching fish down by the lower end. Water is really clear right now. The only way to get to the lower lake is having a small boat or float tube. Might have to oar you way through.

No Rattlesnakes. The last time was there (late may last year) I seen not one but two Rattlesnakes swimming across the lake. So I diceded then not to tube that lake, pontoon, maybe.

Way to go Travis, I need to get out there and fish that with you sometime. You can launch a full size boat in the upper lake right? Then again, I should just bring my pontoon, it's getting a little dusty.

Coffepot is full!!! Easy to launch a boat. Once track is over....I got lots of free time.
