Took my granddaughter(7yoa) my daughter's fiancé and his daughter (8yoa) today to Lake Goodwin. I've talked about this lake many times and it is still one of the best-and most under fished-in the county. Today we still fished with power bait right off the double hedges in about 27-29 feet of water. In one hour we put 20 fish to the boat, all in the 10-12 inch range. This is a great spot for kids since they don't get bored. Beautiful day, great fishing and fun kids, doesn't get much better.
