Started out the morning on the docks with no luck. Threw everything I had at them and not even a bite. I could see large schools swimming by under the docks, but nothing even looking at the bait.

Started heading back to the truck and looked into the water in the north east corner of lake to see what was there. This smallie came peeking his nose out from under a log. Figured I would give it a quick shot with my current setup a chartruese vibax spinner. First cast he came after it but no bite. I threw it in a few more times to aggrivate him dropping it right in front of its nose. After about 10 casts it finnally took the bait.

No tape or scale, but about 16" and probably 3 lbs

Had to pull him through a large weed bed in the water, but he came safely. Put him back in gently to fight another day!!!!
