After no luck at rattlesnake, decided to head to seward pack. arrived and saw a bunch of kids fishing (kids fishing day). supposedly, in an enclosed area (the swimming area), they had released 2000 trout or so. walked around the park and decided to cast out with a few buddies. after a while, one of my buddies decided to walk a little further. about 50 feet later, he spots 4 bass about 10 feet from the shore (looks like they are coming into shallower waters, but had not spawned yet since we were unable to locate the beds). Each bass looked around 3-4 lbs. threw everything we had their way, right in front of their faces and nothing. plastics, worms, jigs, spinners and even reactions baits, they just wernt biting. not long after, 2 kids rowed right on tob of the bass in their inflattable rafts. was unable to locate the bass afterwards.

where those fish spotted where they tie up swim platforms for the winter? you gotta be super steathy arou nd there if somebody even thinks your catching fish they will stack up all around you! i went for a walk around there last summer with a flippin stik and about 20 people followed me everywhere i went, pretty annoying! after awhile i just laughed !

sure it was bass. not bedding yet though, but moving toward the shallows. the two kids tried to get close enough to catch the bass, but they ended up moving right on top of it and the bass just swam away and didnt come back.
