Got to the lake at 9 am, a couple of gentlemen and their kids were fishing from the boat launch with their vehicle parked right at the launch. As I unloaded my gear, they suddenly packed up and left. I wonder why? Got set up and caught the first fish at 10 am, caught the second 15 minutes later. Hooked into another one a half-hour later, but lost it before it got to shore. Rest of the day not a single bite. Left at 2:30 pm. Osprey was out trying but not catching any. Still a good day, with great weather for fishing. Both triploids were about ten inches. Both fish released for another day.
