After being skunked over at Lost Lake, we headed to Isabella to try our luck. I have lived here in Shelton for ten years and havent really fished this lake. But we couldnt beleive how bad the boat ramp was. Part of it is broken up, with a uneven drop off at the end of the ramp. With a 19 footer we didnt want to chanch it so we ended up launching to the side of of it. We got out there and did some bottom fishing with no luck. We moved around trying diferent spots still to no luck. We ended up trolling and then we was able to land a couple, small ones. The weather was very warm, about three boats out playing around but they all have the boats that was trying to fish the space they needed which was nice to see. Also, straight across from the boat launch on the other side we tryed trolling and we had to give up on that spot due to many pole like odjects just under the water to which you dont see till you come right to them. We didnt want to chanch at hitting them. We stayed till four, was a nice day just to be able to relaxe for all three of us.
