Took my 5 y.o. for a morning of fishing and r/c boating. On the water at 8:30am; fished a few spots; hooked a couple small ones and the boy was getting antsy to try his r/c boat. Raced his boat around for awhile; went back to fishing. Ended up finding a nice school in 23 ft of water on the south end of the lake between the launch and creek. We anchored up and didn't move as it was one after another. We hooked over 40 fish in 3 hours; didn't keep anything under 9 inches. Brough home 19 total, 10 of which were 11 inches. Off the water at 1 pm. Awesome weather! Awesome day!!! We used pink/white curly tail and silver/white tubes on 1/32 or 1/16 jig heads tipped w/worm or perch meat. Worms did the best today. . . water temp was 58-60.
