Spent 5 days over at banks w/ Snohobassguy and all the little rug rats 5-13 to 5-17. Spent the early mornings on Roosevelt by the dam trout fishing, only landed 4 in 3 mornings but the fish were all between 20-22". Nice thick fish, all close to 4lbs. Spent the majority of the time bassin' on banks from the punchbowl north. Weather really dictated where the fish were holding. Started out at 50 w/ wind and rain and finished w/ 80 and sun. As the weather got better, so did the fishing. Spent time searching for warm water and once we found it, the fish were stacked up. Main lake was about 51-53, found a few spots that were bumping 60. Saw a few fry, but the water was a little murky from 2 days of wind, so couldnt see if fish were on beds. Landed my personal best Walleye out of 6' of water on a senko, right at 27"..no pic though. That surprised me a little bit. Overall landed right about 15-20 good bass everyday, most 2-4 lbs. 15-18' of water seemed to be the ticket, only picked up a handfull in 10' or less. Ran into someone off of here that recognized me as we were pulling the boat out, but didnt get your name...good bs'n with you. Overall was a good trip, just wish the first two days of weather was a little better. Pic of the smallmouth is at 3lb 5 oz. Now...back to work and reality...woo hoo.
