I took my 7& 9 year old to Williams Lake for the Klinks Fishing Derby. 12 foot boat and three poles. 30 seconds into trip we were tangled. Tried double wammy with worm and got one. I used small flasher with treble hook and piece of worm which caught first fish.

We started really hitting them when we used a Green Hot Sopt 60. Dipped it in Green Goop garlic trout flavor. This lure was very easy with kids since it eliminated having to deal with the worms. Consent fishing from then on and used only two poles at a time to stop the tangle. Even tried fly fishing but just caught my son.

Dad could have used a Beer and more patience. Besides weaving in and out of hundreds of boats it was fun. People were very nice and considerate which was great with all those boats. An extra thanks to the guy who towed us in when our battery died on us. Thanks

I thought it would take hours to get the boat out but I was in and out in minutes. Thanks to the crew at Klinks for there help. Thank you for keeping the food and drinks affordable.

We caught over 10 fish. We were on the lake for 4 hours minus 2 hours of tangles and we caught fish every 10 minutes.

NOW WHERE ARE THE BASS. What lake is the best?
