Went to Lost Lake since they planted some nice size fish. I didn't catch any 1.5 lb plants but 12 C&R and missed or LDR about 6 more. Got to the lake about 8:30 and left about 1:30. Used olive and black rabbit leeches on size 12 with crystal flash in the tail. Had some hard takes and lost 3 flies using intermediate line. As I arrived a guy was leaving with his limit. Said they were all smaller plants. If he was leaving this early, I assumed I would have a great day of C&R.
This is a beautiful lake and I hope it stays that way. Nobody fishing from the launch which was nice. I am find that the boat launches are getting over crowded with bank fishermen when the lake is surrounded by private home. Its a ways from Seattle but enjoy the lake and no crowds.
