Hit Sawyer this morning with BassFanatic for the last time till June,..water was 62 degrees,..by the time we got to the launch @ 9:30 AM the parking lot was full,..word must have gotten out on how the Bed-Bass were nailing Jigs,..seen all the boats shallow,..HaHa,..we head 2 a spot that we seen a BIG-MOMMA last Wednesday,..sure enough she was with the POPPA on the Bed,..he was 5.14 so the female had to be close to 7 lbs,..I know this cuase I caught him on Wed,..perfect,..we tossed our Jigs 2 let the Male pick it up and move it which he did several times,..I didn't want 2 hook the Male but if he picked it up and moved it enough sooner or later the Female will do it 2,..this was the plan and it was working 2 some extent,..BIG-MOMMA wasn't helping enough though she'd come 2 inspect,..stay,..then cruise. We did this for about an hour then motored 2 another spot where I landed a shy 4 lb SMB,..different Bed BF nails another shy 4 lb Smallie,..seen RobG on the water and chatted for a bit,..trolled around looking for more Females 2 no avail.Off the water by 1 PM,..Sawyer is getting pressured allot for Bass now so we're gonna chill for a bit.
