I arrived at Kress before dawn to secure a good bank spot (Memorial Day weekend) . The family started to show by 8:00. I had already C&R 2 perch and a planter bow. the morning was colder than normal with fog. I switched from power bait and biscuit dough under a bobber to power eggs (1 orange , 1 flo green) fished off the bottom. We (6 adults & 3 kids) caught our limits by 2 or 3 PM. Once again the wildlife did not disappoint with the Hawks, Eagles, Ospreys and Herons swooping and diving for fish was awesome.

OK. I'm going to get up on my soap box now . my motto is and always has been : " If every fisherman would pick up one piece of trash, we'd have cleaner lakes, rivers and more access."
The parking lot and pad we were on was filthy. And someone had crapped all over the toilet and walls of the bathroom. I had the wife and her friend stop at Walmart and pick up trash bags and cleaning supplies. I spent an our and 2 stets of rubber gloves scouring the bathroom and another picking up the parking lot. ONCE AGAIN, REMEMBER : " If every fisherman would pick up one piece of trash, we'd have cleaner lakes, rivers and more access."
