Very nice day on the water. However bass not really on beds yet. Saw a few lone bass roaming, but showed no interest in the senkos or jigs.

This is the 3rd time I've been to this lake and I have a feeling these bass are pretty spoiled. They always seem fairly indifferent to lures. No reaction strikes. They always sluggishly approach a lure, then decide no. The lake water is very clear but the reason I say spoiled is because there are tons of sunfish/bluegill around where ever you look. So I think the bass on this lake are always satisfied.

Hey Trent, That last 7 pounder was a Jig fish -- but, you're right -- floating Rapalas do seem to work well at Horseshoe.
