Fished 5-23 thru 5-25 Memorial Day weekend for Perch, they have been a bit slow yet this year. Still tried all of our tricks and spots and searched the lake over. We only found a few small ones not even keepers. Water temp around 65 deg and the baro pressure was high, may have been part of the problem.
We did catch trout almost every place we tried for perch. Well finally started to keep the trout and ended up with a couple nice limits over the weekend. Mostly rainbows and a couple of the tiger trout. They would go after the same bait we were using for perch.
Almost every boat that came to the dock had a limit of trout and we saw a few very nice ones. Even the anglers on the dock had a good weekend with the trout, one young girl got one that was 16 inches plus, she was so happy. The camera's came out to click a pic of her and her catch.
Did see a couple 13 in perch Mon afternoon but not in my boat.

I find that those darn Downs perch seem to come on during the heat of the summer. Still, they are out there, so I guess it is worth trying to find them.

Good to see the trout are keeping you happy, and a tiger as well. Thumbs UP!.
