Decided to have a family fishing trip at Pine. I went ahead and launched the boat around 11am. Not too many people out on the lake, but the pier was pretty full. While waiting for my family to show up, I trolled over to the docks across from the launch and picked up a nice RBT for my efforts. Decided to throw some plastics to see what might be there and picked up a dink SMB on a wacky rigged senko. That finally gets the bass skunk off my back. Family showed up about then and we spent the next couple hours trolling around for trout pulling everything in the tackle box both deep and shallow without any success. My wife got one hit on a wedding ring with a crawler attached and I had one good strike on a sinking rapala. Water temp was about 63. Nice day to be on the water, but a little breezy.
