Launched at 6pm and started throwing jerk baits. Then switched to senkos with still no luck. Tried drop shotting robo worms and still no hits. Tied on a booya jig with a zoom pig chunk trailer. BOOYA! 3rd cast and I slamed a nice 5 pound 6 oz pig. Then my wife got excited and asked to swith to something similar so I hooked her up with a black and blue Jigger craw with a 1/4 ounce bullet sinker. Bingo she hooked up with a nice fatty! She worked it threw the lilly pads all the way to the boat and snap , line broke =( . It would have been her first Largie and it was a whopper. Fished till 8:30 and had to wrap it up , Funny thing is , she didn't want to leave lol. I'm not sure who was left with the hook in her , my wife or the fatty bass.
