i got up pretty early and hit larson for some top water action. i had two rods rigged a buzzbait rod and a senko rod. third cast my buzzbait got hit but it was a miss so i followed up with a senko, fish hit it right away, only about 1 pound though i got a pic of it but didnt post. released the fish and casted the buzzbait back out there right as a asian couple came up talking to me. i got a hit right then and it was fish on. thats the pic i posted. didnt get anymore hits here so i went to the dock. had one fish blow up on my buzzbait there didnt stick and didnt hit the follow up bait. so i casted the senko under the dock and got a another little guy but didnt post the pic. lost my buzzbait right after that on a branch hidden by the lilly pads.so i tossed on the popper. got that one more fish on the popper and that was it. i ran to wal-mart for some more buzzbaits and came back. got one more blowup but seemed they didnt really want a buzzbait anymore. i tried a zara spook for awhile but they didnt want it.

Nice work! Not really a lot of big bass in there I don't think. I have caught a couple of dinks in there as well..?

i was suprised today how many fish were holding in each area. there were fish every couple of feet. biggest i have caught out of there is about a three pounder last year. lots of dinks and the random 2 to 3 pounder thrown in. most days i only catch a couple fish here. almost all the fish in the lake that were active were hoilding in the south side of the lake. the more north i went the less fish i saw. but yeah typically lots of dinks. its a good lake if you dont have alot of time to fish and you want to play with a bass lol.
