went fishing yesterday from 1pm untill 5. a nice day no wind and not too hot. I ussualy limit out here but not today. I had no bites with red power eggs so I decided to switch to green power bait. I had the bite that I've been waiting fot all year at green lake. A little tug on my pole so I thought is was one of the small ones, but as soon as I got the fish to within ten feet of the shore it took off. It was a VERY large triploid. i fought it to tire it out,BUT my un-experinced dad decided to grab the line to pull it out of the water. that allowed this fish to get some slack in the line and it bolted and broke my line. I've been waiting since the opening of the season to catch one of those and I was so close. But i'm not giving up, going again today cuz at green lake even if you dont catch anything a tleast you have some eye candy to look at when the girls jog by. best of luck to everyone else.
