Came to Ocean Shores for a little vacation and spent most of it fishing. On the evening of Friday, May 22nd, both my girlfriend and myself hooked in some really nice trout (triploids!) on one of the little public docks. She was lucky enough to get hers onto the dock, mine on the other hand snapped my line as soon as I went to net the dirty rat bastard. It was awesome though because this was her first time fishing since she was but a wee lass. She was all kinds of cute and excited about it, but enough of that mushy crap. Her fish weighed 4.5 lbs. My luck came back to me on the morning of Saturday the 23rd. I was fishing off a small public dock next to a random boat launch and hooked into a 3 1/2 lb. Largemouth not even six feet off the dock using a bobber and a nightcrawler. I took some pics and released it. Will try to post later. The good luck ran into the next few days as we continued to pick up descent sized trout ranging 12-14 inches.
