6/18/2009 10:32:00 AMBamofban- I'm sorry if I gave you the impression that they will become less agressive towards the topwater as the water warms. They should become more aggresssive towards the topwater as temps increase. I think that can be overstated however and there is a lot of misconception of when topwater baits become productive. I think they are productive when the fish are agressive. Sometimes they are aggresive when the water is warm and sometimes when the water is cool. I don't believe in any hard and fast rules when it comes to fish. Wifes for sure, fish no. My topwater bait selection revolves more around the type of cover I am fishing rather than water temps. When I fish around wood and open water I like the buzzer and a walk the dog type bait such as a Spook or Sammy. In the slop I like the hollow body frogs and soild body frogs.
