Float Tube Bass

Took a float tube out to Beaver Lake on Saturday about 4:30 pm. Launched out of the park and worked along the docks with a Texas rigged black plastic worm. Caught 7 bass in about two hours time. Largest was close to two pounds, maybe 16" or so. Caught a couple right around 13-14" range. The rest were small guys. Lost one that probably went about three pounds. Besides a couple boats and some shore fisherman, had the lake to myself. Little windy out, little dark and overcast. The following day, Sunday, got out about 3:30. Launched off the boat ramp this time. Tried around the docks again, and in deeper water. Caught only one small 6" bass. The fish had lockjaw. Much nicer day out, sun was shining, but no bass biting like the day before.
