This was my first time fishing this lake, so I didn't have a feel where to go or what to use. The lake looks like it has some great shoreline structure for bass though. I concentrated on the shoreline going North from the launch. I was in my tube. Had one strike near a dock. Saw a few small trout prob. surfacing for flies. I mostly threw a senko in the structure, and then fished an olive woolly bugger. No hits on the fly.

Those small "trout" you saw were probably crappie. They surface feed on this lake so hard in the evening sometimes it looks like it's raining. When you see that start switch over to a small dry fly and knock yourself out!

I've caught a 20inch rainbow in this lake jigging for crappie. Maybe he saw some trout. This is a good lake for Crappie!
