Fished desire for an hour or so with nothing to show afterwards so we decided to head in. i was fishing with chris and danny again, and as we were on the way back home, chris shouts "hey, let's try that pond!" it was jokingly of course, since it was one of those storm water drainage ponds. there's a few of them throughout the neighborhood next to the lake. but just for fun we got out and tried anyway. after about 5 minutes of casting my whole, unweighted crawler into the weeds, i pulled out a nice little largemouth! i was so surprised there was actually fish in there! so we stayed for about another hour and caught a few more fish. i caught 4, with one falling off as i tried to bring it to shore, and danny caught 1 small one. the two biggest are shown in the pictures. they're by no means huge, maybe a pound each, but they were still fun. tons of frogs all around us, so i'm guessing that's their main food source. might comeback later and try some topwater action haha pretty good day all around.

IEnjoibreak you know what you are talking about. Largemouth without a doubt. Don't listen to Rippasher06, he must be clueless. Largemouth are GREEN, Smallmouth are Bronze/gold, kinda hard to tell them apart huh ; )
Nice job finding a new fishin hole.
