I went out to Beaver at around 8:00 when it wasn't raining a drop. I started to troll an orange wedding ring with two split shot ahead of it at speed one on my Minn Kota. At around 8:30, I then hooked up with a little stocker rainbow, about 10" long, and then threw it back. Immediately afterward, it started pouring rain like crazy. I don't mind fishing in the rain that much, but it was really pouring and it was starting to get late, so I started to head in. Right before I got to the launch, I hooked up with two more rainbows about 50 feet away from the launch. It seems that I always catch fish right before I get to the launch. Anyways, I ended up going home right after that soaked to the bone with my boat as full as a bathtub. Besides the rain and all my equipment getting wet, I would say that it was a good day considering the amount of fish I caught in the short amount of time.
