6/21/2009 10:54:00 AMWe used pink, orange and even green. As long as you troll really close to the lily pads you should be able to hook up with some crappie.

6/21/2009 12:26:00 PMHey guys Im A regular at cassidy. Usually slaying 10 or more crappie a night, and lots of gills and perch. I personally use one of those bobbers that are long, and have a lead weight already on it. I use a crappie jig, or small minnow jigs, Red, and White has been best.] About 4 feet of leader half way up the leader i place a small split shot. And I cast that all out and twitch the bobber, and let it sit for a sec and just twitch and reel, let it sit and repeat. You should be able to land crappies all night. But I never get them until 8pm as soon as the sun goes down over the tree line the crappies start to boil, and you should be able to catch em until dark even into dark. Good Luck

6/22/2009 1:05:00 PMJoekacker, as a regular there maybe you've seen this and can tell me what happened. There is a wooden dock on the west side of the lake north of the launch area, or at least there was the last time I was on the lake. It sits on pilings and the access to this dock is completely overgrown. It's below a snag that an eagle often sits in. I was in a boat still fishing off the end of the dock when it suddenly lurched and started swaying side to side. I've spoken to another fisherman that has witnessed the same thing and we couldn't figure out what would have caused this. Any thoughts?
