Trout seemed a bit spooky today. Had several that sorta sucked on the powereggs rather then gulp them down as usuall. We limited with 2 13" being the largest. Yellow seemed to be color preferance when we finally got our first landed. We started with pink which had always worked best for us previously. I went to yellow which caught our first and secound trout. My Wife then changed to yellow but still had no action. She then went with orange and pink which worked great for her. All were caught about 2' off the bottom and again at the south end. Took about 5hrs to limit. We then changed gear and trolled plugs along the east shore heading back to the launch which netted us 7 perch and a smb. My wife ended up catching 3 varity of fish for the day which is something I have never done. The plugs we trolled were rattlers and were collored like the perch includding the stripes. Was a good day :) Also for those who want know the park closes 1/2 hr after sunset. Keep yor lines tight!!
