Well, my Dad, lil bro (cinati kid), & myself decide to hit Lk. WA today, on this Happy Fathers Day!

We got to Gene Coulon around 8-9am and headed towards Coleman Pt. for some perch. We were fishing right along the drop off & weedline in about 15-25' . We were mainly using drop shot type rigs for the set up.

Anyhow, we got some o.k. size perch, not the big boys that lurk in Lk. WA. Big enough to hit the deep fryer though, haha.

We caught around 20 or so perch & that was the verdict. Then we switched to small mth fishing & came away empty handed. We were marking em' but not a lot of action. Saw some bass boats, but did not look like they were doing any better than us for the most part.

Then the rain hit & we got ghost! Back to the boat launch..

Man I'm full from.. yum, yum

Unit next time...

looks awesome topdawg! Nothing better than a fresh perch fry! BMD, were you and sparky fishing the capital city bass club tourney? PM me and tell me how you guys did. I had a client out on Saturday for 6 hours, but only managed one smallie on a crank. Curious how the club fared on Sat and Sun.

Another great spot for perch around 8 to 10 inch is in kenmore right at the mariena there is public fishing on that dock! The bigest perch i have ever seen . use a drop shot and worm. when you walk out to the dock take a left and right at the end of the fence toss over by lola boat with 2' leatter it takes longer to bait the hook than to chach. AWSOME cant go wrong there! ENJOY
