Hi Bubba, you don't mention what you are dropshotting with, either bait or color, but dropshotting the ends of docks this time of year is definitely a proven producer. I'd recommend, using a 3-4" dark brown, or green pumpkin with some gold flake color, personally I use sniper snubs and sniper bolts, nose hooked on a mosquito style hook, with the lightest weight I can get away with, but generally about 1/8 to 3/16 oz. roboworms in aarons magic color is another favorite of mine. These fish are postspawn now, so target the ends of the deeper docks, and try to find the ones that aren't so weed choked, which means 15-20 feet deep most likely and don't overwork your bait, let it soak in one spot before putting too much action/movement into it. In the early morning, you should be able to pick up a few active fish, by throwing 1/4 oz cranks in crawdad or baby bass colors, and spinnerbaits, in a chartreuse or white. That's good info. David......pretty soon, those fish will be really honing into dropshotted worms in the colors you described. What will also work is light jigs between 1/6 and 1/8 oz. with curly tails..... fish'em on the bottom in slow jigging and steady retrieve.
