Good afternoon folks,

Well here is the morning repoirt for Jiggs. First time that I have been there so it was kind of nice to hit a new lake.

Arrived at daybreak and launched my float tube and worked towards the east end of the lake with not much action, just one nice hit before I turned and headed southwest. Trolling with a black wooly and a sinking flyline, the minute I turned I had one on. Turned out to be a 11 inch rainbow. After releasing him and about 5 minutes, had the second one on, same rough size.

Worked back and forth all down the lake until I hit the launch point and had caught an released about 8 rainbows with the largest being about 13 inches. Lots of fun and a beautiful morning.

So in summary - fish from the east to the west with a black wooly and watch for a soft hit.

Have fun and stay safe out there. Will be heading out again tomorrow and will let you know

* As always, I never hide anything in my reports, I tell you exactly what I know

Tie a couple flies for bass for your next time to Jiggs.
