I met BassDood out at Bay Lake first thing in the morning on Father's Day. We took off to the right of the launch and headed up the shore. I threw a Spro frog for the first time. Am sure I am just learning on how to work this lure. Will need to do a little more research on the technique. BassDood had one that went after his top water frog but that was about it. For whatever reason I wasn’t feeling very well while on the water. Do you ever get those times when fishing when things just don't feel right? But it was good to get out there with BassDood. Met a couple of other guys bass fishing from their boat. They had only gotten one small one first thing using spinner bait. Do want to try this lake again maybe without a cold front lingering around. Packed up and headed home to dig into warm biscuits and gravy for a scrumptious Father's Day breakfast.
